Hurrahhhhhhh…Crud

As you know Cat-Daddy went to the suitcase-place for a while. I was very lonely at night because Cat-Daddy is an excellent sleeping partner and heated pillow. Cat-Mommy is allergic to me so my nights were filled with loneliness and my big bother. But yesterday something wonderful happened: Cat-Daddy returned! We had treats and lovely turkey, and I made a permanent home on his lap for the evening. How wonderful!

This morning, however, was a different story. After morning-snuggles and three-course breakfast I was unceremoniously dumped into a pillowcase, were I couldn’t squirm or escape properly, and then into the cat carrier. Horrors! It seems like I’m doing this every other day. From there we went to the garage (scary), the car (yuck), and then (gasp) the vet! There I was handled by a stranger who touched my leg with a pointy-sticky, then passed to another stranger who touched my other leg with a pointy-sticky. I knew at once from the dizziness that I was receiving another “reward” of chemotherapy. Yeech! I was dizzy and a bit sick all the way home. When we got home there was a final humiliation: a PILL!!! I resisted heroically but Cat-Daddy endured all forms of squirming yelling and the pill was taken.

And then something unexpected happened: my dizziness went away! I felt so much better I instantly forgave Cat-Daddy for the morning’s privation and settled in for a wonderful day of food and cuddles and food. I even tolerated my big bother standing nearby for a while; below is a picture of us not fighting. All in all I guess things could be much worse.
