What a terrific day yesterday was! I woke up about 5:00 AM to find the cone of shame was still gone, so I celebrated by waking up Cat-Daddy for an early breakfast. The parents were both home all day and we had a very quiet time using our laptops. I alternated helping Cat-Mommy and Cat-Daddy press the many fascinating keys. There was no sign of the carrier, no trip to the vet, no pointy-stickys, three treatings and soft, soft food for dinner! It’s been so long since I was comfortable I’d forgotten what it feels like. I hope this trend continues.
Here’s a picture of me “admiring” the birds and insects through the window. But I spent most of the day doing what a cat does best: sleeping! I finished the day with a game of “hidden lump” on the comforter (I’m a fearsome beast!) and an early bedtime.
That was a fun one! No picture of outside window….

Thanks Bobbe! I thought of having a picture of outside the window but decided “it’s all about me” – as any good cat will tell you 🙂
We are glad you are felling better Olive. My cat daddy has to take both of us to the vet next week for a dental cleaning. But we still live him for now. We both got the chase a baby lizard today what fun.
I love hunting lizards! Hunting lizards and insects is the one thing that Pounce de Leon and I do together. We cornered a Cicada once but it made a HUGE noise so we both ran and hid.
